• Stop allowing your dog to pull while walking on leash.
• Do not allow your dog to go out the door before you.
• Never allow your dog to put his teeth on your hand or skin; He is preparing to bite you!

If you allow these actions, your dog will think of you as a push over. In your dog’s mind he says, my human is not the pack leader in this house; I AM.

Of course, but this is a “how to” book. If you hire a nanny who takes care of your children and provides love and discipline for your child, more than likely, the child will be well behaved. When the child is in the care of the parents, what happens if they do not use the nanny’s skills? The child misbehaves. Dogs are no different than children; there is no mystery to training dogs. Most people expect to send their dog away to be trained, and then they expect a robot to return that obeys every command. That is a great theory, but it is not reality.
